Oral Medicine and Radiology department deals with the diagnosis of a spectrum of oral diseases by thorough clinical examination, radiographic analysis and other diagnostic tests along with the management of medically compromised patients. In addition to the conventional radiographic procedures like intra oral peripaical radiographs , the radiology section features advanced digital radiographic units including digital imaging(RVG), digital intraoral camera, extra oral radiographic machines for lateral & frontal cephalograms and Orthopantomogram,,specialized imaging techniques like CT ,MRI and CBCT. Apart from diagnosis, the specialty also offers diagnosis and treatment for precancerous lesions and conditions,tobacco cessation counselling as well as TMJ dysfunction syndromes.
