Hands on Workshop on Inhalation Sedation

Department of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry conducted a novel workshop First of its kind in MP on inhalation sedation by Dr Shipra Jaikda. We thank the Management of RCDS ,Secretary Shri Anupam Chouksey sir ,Executive Director Dharmendra Gupta sir for giving the entire support for this event. Director, LNCT group Mrs Poojashri Chouksey graced this event along with the presence of DCI member Dr Chandresh Shukla. Programme was wonderfully executed under the leadership of Professor and Head Dr Arpana Bansal with complete support from Mrs Jyoti Rai madam,Vice Dean GS Chandu sir.

1st Live Surgery Of Zygomatic Implants In Central India At RCDS!!

Rishiraj College of Dental Sciences and Research Center, Bhopal succesfully hosted and conducted the First Session of 8th Conference of the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India (AOMSI) MP state chapter on 5th January 2019. In this scientific session LIVE SURGERY of the patient under GENERAL ANESTHESIA with AUDIO VISUAL INTERACTIVE RELAY (2-way communication between operation theatre and auditorium) of ZYGOMATIC IMPLANTS was done by well known Implantologist and reconstructive Surgeon of India Dr. Raghav Verma.

The event was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Honorable Dr. Anupam Chouksey, Secretary LNCT group and Guest of Honor National Vice President of AOMSI Dr. Ummar M. This scientific session was organised by the Dept. of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery under guidance of Professor and HOD and Scientific Chairman, 8 th MPCON, AOMSI Dr. N. R. Chourasia and his team Dr. Ankita Vastani, Dr. Vedant Pahlajani and Dr. Sabhrant Singh. The Stalwarts in the field of Oral and Maxillifacial Surgery of India like Dr. Rajesh Dhirawani, Dr. Vilas Newaskar and Dr. Amit Dhawan and many more eminent surgeons also enlightened and graced the occasion.

Scientific presentations of post graduate ( MDS) students of Central India was also held in this two days conference. The Students of our institute who made us proud are Dr. Samarth Vajpayee (PG 3rd Year ) 1st prize in Paper presentation, Dr. Pooja Chauhan ( PG 1st Year) , 1st prize in Poster presentation and Dr. Himanshu Dravid ( PG 2nd year) 3rd Prize in Paper Presentation. We wish all of them a hearty congratulations for bringing the laurels to our college.

Colgate India and Rishiraj Dental College Bhopal organised CDE talks on various aspects of dentistry. Students,Interns and post graduate students were all informed about latest aspects of dentistry by staff of RCDS&RC. Chief guest of the programme were our Chancellor Shri Jai Narayan Chouksey sir who was felicitated by Dr SM Bapat sir. Programme was wonderfully supported by CEO of our college Mrs Jyoti Rai madam. Successfully conducted one day workshop on Laser in General Dentistry by renowned speaker Dr Sana Farsta from Mumbai, in department of periodontology, RISHIRAJ COLLEGE OF DENTAL SCIENCES & RESEARCH CENTRE. Thanks to the Management Shri Dharmendra Gupta Sir, Shri Anupam Chaukse sir for encouragement and support. Special thanks to Dean Dr Bapat sir, CEO Jyoti mam, faculty members of the college, Dr Abhishek, Dr Shubhra, Dr Abhinav and last but not the least Inters for unconditional help. Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics Organised

Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics organised a full day CDE programme under the able guidance of Dean & HOD Dr SM Bapat Sir on Ortho Mantra by a renowned and dynamic orthodontist ,Professor Colonel Dr Anmol Singh Kalha,OSRE. This programme was well attended and received by postgraduate and eminent teachers of Madhya Pradesh. Event was made special by the presence of National DCI member Dr Chandresh Shukla & IDA Bhopal president Dr Gurinder Gulati . This programme was possible due to support of Management of RCDS & RC specially Shri Dharmendra Gupta sir & shri Anupam Chouksey sir who are always supportive for such educative events. We also thank IDA Bhopal & IOS Bhopal for supporting this event.
